Video Reflection
*I wasn’t able to upload the video because of a technical problem so I just decided to put my script here instead.  I did my book report on the last song. I thought the book portrayed true love, responsibility, forgiveness, religion, and family relations. Most books now a days don’t include much about families and their relations but in my opinion, it is actually really important since...

Chapter 37
After Ronnie played him the song, he died less than a week later. The funeral was simple and not many people came. Ronnie and Jonah both cried in each other’s arms. It had rained all morning until the sun flashed through their stained glass window. There was Steve watching over them. When Ronnie turned around, she saw the Blakelee’s there. Susan and Tom both gave their blessings as...

“God, he suddenly understood, was love in its purest form, and in these last...”
– This quote is about how instead of Steve always searching for God’s answers and replies,  he realizes that God is always there, for anyone in the form of love and has always been there for him.

Chapter 36
Ronnie was completed and played his last song for him. For the first time in awhile, he didn’t feel any pain. He finally accepted that God’s presence is everywhere and is in the form of love.

Chapter 35
Ronnie saw off her mother and Jonah. As she was walking outside on her way back home, she ran into Pastor Harris. He asked if she wanted to pray with him. After that, she started to do it regularly. She was by herself at the bungalow. She prayed for the strength she needed and to stay positive instead of crying. When Steve came home from the hospital, the first thing Ronnie showed him was the...

Chapter 34
Before while Steve was on his tour, he hadn’t seen his family in two weeks and decided to surprise them since he had some free time. It was a mere coincident that he saw a woman that looked exactly like Kim dining with a man that kissed her. It was his wife. He turned back around to the station and called his wife later. Back in the hospital, those images floated back to his mind because he...

Ronnie and Jonah were in the hospital with Steve. They told him that they finished making the window. Steve asked Jonah to get him a soda in the cafeteria and left. The court date got canceled and moved to October. Ronnie couldn’t even think about that with everything going on. Chapter 32
Will couldn’t sleep that much that day. He was feeling sad about what is happening to the family. He felt the same way when Mickey had died. Ever since Will met Steve, he had been nothing but kind. Always spending time with his children and never raising a voice, he wanted to be a father like him someday. Steve was someone that Will really admired. He woke up from the sun and saw that Ronnie...

Interview with Ronnie Miller
Me: Welcome to our show! Today's special guest is going to be Ronnie Miller!
Ronnie: Hey! Thanks for having me on the show today! It's an honor.
Me: We're excited to have you here today and especially excited to hear about The Last Song.
Ronnie: Yeah, that was a really great summer.
Me: I bet! So we'll begin the interview with how was your first kiss with Will?!
Ronnie: Oh man, well it wasn't like one of those romantic kiss scenes like you see in the movies. It was one of those kisses where you're in an autoshop and explaining to this guy that you barely just met that you were sorry and all I got was a Hello.
Me: Wow,
Ronnie: Yeah, but the nice part was he pulled me closer and kissed me in front of everyone. It was so awkward but I was happy. It made me really happy.
Me: Well, that's pretty romantic to me! How sweet of him.
Ronnie: Yeah he is.
Me: So what was your first impression on him?
Ronnie: Well, at first I was in total denial. I didn't want to like someone since the first time I met him, he spilt soda all over my shirt! But he made up for it. We were on such a common ground the first time we watched the loggerhead eggs together. It really surprised me because I thought he was just some rich cocky white boy that I would find at one of Manhattan's private schools. When I got to know him, I couldn't help but keep thinking about him. I was falling for him.
Me: That's adorable. Young love. From the beginning of the summer to the end, you really changed didn't you?
Ronnie: Yeah.. I did. I was pretty surprised as everyone else. I came to North Carolina as a rebellious teenage girl who didn't even want to go to college. It was pretty hard at first, transitioning to the fast life of New York to a slower paced North Carolina. This summer changed me. I met the one guy that I truly loved, my father and I actually got along after three long years, I was convicted of a felony I didn't even do, and I decided my future. I came to know what true love really is and how to appreciate the finer things and people around you and to be a good person. I couldn't have asked for a better summer.. really.
Me: Wow, that is so inspirational. Oh my gosh! Look at the time! We're behind schedule, but I really appreciate you coming out here and talking about your experience with us. I hope to see you here again soon!
Ronnie: Thanks for having me! And thanks for watching viewers!

It hurt her to know that she was so into everything else around her, she never...

One day he got a pain in his stomach and knew something was wrong. He went to the doctos and knew what he was going to say. He had stomach cancer and it spread to his pancreas and lungs. “This is who I am, and this is what I enjoy, and of all the people I know right...”
– This quote is important because from all the places that Will could have taken Ronnie on their first date, he chose to take her to te aquarium and to go fishing. Fishing is something he likes to do and even though she didn’t like cooking them up, he just wanted to spend time with her and show...

Chapter 17
Instead of waking up with the farmers, Ronnie slept in and was in an especially good mood. There was a chance that she’d be able to go home, away from all of the crazy lunatics there. Steve told Ronnie that she’s not able to go...

“Never forget that God is your friend. And like all friends, He longs to hear...”
– This quote is important to the story because Steve, Ronnie’s father grew up with an unexpressive family. Every one sort of did their own thing, but when he met Pastor Harris while playing the piano, he became his teacher but also like his second father.  This quote is significant in my own...
